Scientists Create Nanotest That Detects Coronavirus in 30 Seconds
Iranian scientists have successfully developed a testing system using nanomaterials that allows for the diagnosis of the coronavirus in just 30 seconds. This was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing Mehr news agency.
The innovation was presented today, May 12, in the presence of Iran's Vice President for Science and Technology, Sorin Satari.
According to the agency, this system will enable the detection of the presence of the coronavirus in the body with 95% accuracy within a mere 30 seconds. However, Satari mentioned that the testing system has not yet undergone certification.
The test system allows for the identification of COVID-19 as well as other viruses in their early stages.
