Road Police to Implement Undercover Operations
In order to enhance the effectiveness of detecting drivers who violate traffic rules and to ensure road safety, the Road Police will now conduct undercover operations.
The undercover operations are regulated by a relevant decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. This involves patrol duties carried out by officers of the Road Patrol Service using vehicles that do not have distinctive markings, color graphics, or any records.
These undercover vehicles will enable traffic police to detect drivers who have violated traffic rules and, according to the law on ensuring road safety in Armenia, to use loudspeakers to instruct them to stop their vehicles.
The vehicles are equipped with all necessary technical means to detect and document any type of violation.
Dear drivers, we urge you to adhere to traffic regulations.
