Edmon Marukyan's Brother Files Complaint Against Sasun Mikayelyan

Edgar Marukyan, brother of the leader of the Bright Armenia party, Edmon Marukyan, has submitted a complaint to the Armenian Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan regarding threats made by MP Sasun Mikayelyan, both direct and indirect.

According to the Armenian Criminal Code, Article 137, Part 1, threats of murder or serious harm to health are considered crimes if there is a real danger of such threats being carried out. There are reasonable grounds to suspect that MP Sasun Mikayelyan is armed while roaming the city, accompanied by armed individuals. It is also necessary to determine what organization he leads, which may enable him to threaten citizens, including myself, which I assess as a real threat to my life and health. Based on Article 176, Part 1 and Article 177 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, I request the initiation of a criminal case regarding the presented facts, to clarify the circle of guilty individuals, as well as to determine how MP Sasun Mikayelyan is threatening to take revenge.
