Changes in Traffic Organization at Pedestrian Crossings
The City Hall of Yerevan has announced that, in order to ensure traffic safety and organization, changes will be made to the traffic organization at 7 uncontrolled pedestrian crossings on 6 streets in the capital starting from May 12, 2020.
The crossings affected include the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue and Yerznkyan Street, Arshakunyats Avenue at numbers 12 and 15, Acharyan Street near the stone, Leningrad Avenue at number 10, Tbilisi Highway at number 73/2, Z. Kanakerhtzu Street at numbers 63 and 65, and Z. Kanakerhtzu Street at number 117.
At these pedestrian crossings, traffic lights operating in the 'Pedestrian Call' mode have been installed. The sequence of traffic for vehicles and the movement of pedestrians at these crossings will be regulated by traffic light signals with the involvement of pedestrians.
