Suspicious Behavior of Citizen on Davidashen Bridge Turns Out to be a Walk
On May 11, employees from the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided psychological support to a citizen on the Davidashen Bridge in Yerevan, whose behavior seemed suspicious to others, prompting them to alert the authorities.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a call was received at 12:24 PM at the National Crisis Management Center regarding a citizen exhibiting suspicious behavior.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Department, along with an instructor from the psychological support division, was dispatched to the scene. It turned out that Vahe O. (born in 1986) did not intend to commit suicide. He was merely walking on the bridge; however, he required the counsel of a psychologist.
The instructor from the psychological support division provided Vahe O. with assistance on site.
