Snowfall in the Dilijan Loops and Aragats Region
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of May 10 at 15:00, the roads across Armenia are mostly passable. However, the road leading to the Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn province remains closed indefinitely. Snow is falling in the Dilijan loops and the Aragats region of Aragatsotn.
Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Emergency Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Crisis Management Center in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road has been opened only for freight transport after intensive snow clearing efforts.
Additionally, we remind that the restrictions on entry into Georgia for foreigners remain in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transport.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
