Four New COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Artsakh, Information Headquarters Reports
The Information Headquarters of Artsakh reports that according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, of the 41 citizens tested the day before, 37 tested negative for COVID-19, while 4 tested positive, indicating they have contracted the novel coronavirus.
The four citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are related to an infected individual identified on May 7 in the Nor Verinshen community from the New Brajjur community of the Shahumyan region.
Out of the aforementioned positive cases, two individuals are currently in a hotel designated for isolation in Shushi city, while the other two have self-isolated in the New Brajjur community.
It is noteworthy that in accordance with the decision of the Artsakh Republic's Emergency Situational Center, restrictions on the right to free movement have been imposed on May 7 in the Nor Verinshen community and Chhapni village of the Khnaravan community, as well as on May 8 in New Brajjur community.
