Government to Support Citizens Consuming Up to 30,000 AMD Gas and 10,000 AMD Electricity

The Prime Minister of Armenia has signed a decision to approve the 12th measure for neutralizing the economic impacts of the coronavirus. "Based on Article 146, Part 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides to: 1. Approve the twelfth measure for neutralizing the economic impacts of the coronavirus, according to the attached document. 2. Propose that the Public Services Regulatory Commission organize the implementation of the measure by April 17, 2020," the decision states.

With the new decision, the Government is providing aid to citizens who consumed gas between 10,000 and 30,000 AMD and electricity between 5,000 and 10,000 AMD in February. The assistance is given at 30 percent of the payment.
