Urgent: State of Emergency Declared in the Republic of Artsakh

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan, held an extended meeting of the inter-agency commission coordinating the measures for the prevention of the spread of the new coronavirus on April 12. Representatives from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the republic were present.

According to the press service of the President of Artsakh, President Sahakyan addressed the citizens of the republic, informing them that he has signed a decree declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Artsakh to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and protect the population from the threat of the pandemic.
