Arsen Babayan to Engage in Active Political Activities with Arthur Vanetsyan

Arsen Babayan has made a post on his Facebook page announcing that he will be engaging in active politics and has formed a team with Arthur Vanetsyan.

“Dear colleagues, beloved family and friends, I have decided to actively engage in politics. I am proudly announcing that I have accepted the offer to form a team with state figure, Major General Arthur Vanetsyan, and to unite our efforts completely for the sake of our Homeland. I have never been involved in politics before, have not joined any political party, nor have I associated with one. I have only carried out professional activities in key state institutions.”

“Today, seeing how the ruling political entity manages the state in such a chaotic manner, the incompetence of its personnel policy, how it applies selective justice and double standards on a daily basis, and how it openly attacks our national values and institutions, I feel it is my duty to be actively involved in political processes, offering my knowledge and experience for the development of our common homeland. For me, revolution is primarily a change of values rather than of individuals; it is a struggle of ideological isms, not a race of empty and populist slogans; it is responsible and professional governance, not impulsive decisions and collective irresponsibility.”
