State Commission on Protection of Economic Competition Responds to Ginger Price Hikes
Ani Smbatyan, spokesperson for the State Commission on Protection of Economic Competition, has responded on her Facebook page to reports concerning the price hikes of ginger. She stated, “In light of recent reports in the media, as well as complaints raised by citizens regarding the sharp increase in ginger prices, the Commission is making inquiries to relevant departments and businesses regarding the data of ginger importers in the republic, with the aim of uncovering potential violations of the Law on Protection of Economic Competition.”
Smbatyan noted that additional information would be provided regarding the outcomes of these inquiries.
