Public Places in Yerevan, Including Bus Stops and Waste Bins, Being Disinfected

Haik Mkhitaryan, the press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, announced on his Facebook page that bus stops, waste bins, public transportation, and other public places in Yerevan are undergoing disinfection.

“In cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the municipality is disinfecting bus stops, waste bins, public transportation, and other public spaces on a daily basis. The community organization of the Emergency Situations Ministry is also disinfecting the streets with spraying vehicles. These disinfection efforts receive support from the public sector as well. While expressing gratitude for the community supporters, we urge everyone to coordinate such support with local government bodies to ensure that the work is organized and safe. Especially under the conditions of a state of emergency, the operations must be coordinated,” he wrote.
