Famous Physicist Mishik Ghazaryan Hospitalized in Russia with Suspected Coronavirus

Armenian-born physicist Mishik Ghazaryan is currently at the Kommunarka Infectious Diseases Hospital. There are suspicions of coronavirus infection. This was reported to kp.ru by Elena Lyubchenk, an employee of the Lebedev Physical Institute.

According to reports, Mishik Ghazaryan last attended work at the institute on March 16, feeling well. “A few days later, he developed a fever and his condition deteriorated. During this period, he had no contact with the institute's staff,” Lyubchenk noted.

Earlier, there were reports that Ghazaryan's wife, Professor Arpik Hasratyan, was also hospitalized with him and had passed away on Friday evening.
