The Number of COVID-19 Infections in Azerbaijan Reaches 165, Reports 'RIA Novosti'
The total number of COVID-19 infections in Azerbaijan has reached 165, with 43 new cases reported in one day, according to the operational headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers, as reported by ria.ru.
“Azerbaijan has recorded 43 new cases of the coronavirus. There are 147 infected individuals under medical supervision, 6 of whom are in serious condition, 11 are moderately ill, and others are stable. A total of 3,485 people have self-isolated,” the operational headquarters’ statement reads.
Earlier, the headquarters announced that 15 of the infected have recovered, and there have been three reported deaths. The World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic on March 11. According to the latest data from WHO, over 559,143 people have been infected worldwide, and more than 25,278 have died.
