Likelihood of Disinformation Spread Reduced to Zero: 'Hayastani Hanrapetutyun'
"There have been minor instances of violations of the limited state of emergency regime in Armenia, for which there has been no need for administrative penalties. It is a known truth that the main cause of disinformation is the lack of information, particularly from state sources. The Armenian government has fully addressed this gap by establishing a Unified Armenian Information Center attached to the Commandant's Office, where representatives from authorized ministries and state bodies provide necessary sectoral information three times a day.
During press conferences, while responding to questions from journalists, some of which are sourced from the internet, the state officials fully meet the public's demand for information. On the other hand, it must be noted that the media landscape in the republic and active citizens on social networks display a united pro-state stance on this issue, which is one of the characteristic traits of our people. Historically, this phenomenon of coming together in difficult times has always been present, enhancing the effectiveness of our people's responses to the challenges facing the country," the newspaper writes. Full material can be read in today's issue of the newspaper.
