From Tomorrow, the Ministry of Emergency Situations Will Conduct Disinfection Work Twice a Day at Bus Stops
The Crisis Management National Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has received around 500 calls, of which 286 were solely related to the coronavirus, while the remaining calls concerned various issues associated with the virus. This information was shared by the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Harutyunyan, during a press conference at the Armenian Unified Information Center.
“About 400 contacts have been isolated by emergency vehicles, and during this time, psychological support has been provided to those in contact, their family members, and other citizens who have requested assistance by the psychological service of the rescue service,” he noted.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that so far, as needed, disinfection operations have been conducted in several public areas by relevant divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in cooperation with local communities.
“If these operations have been conducted as necessary until now, starting from 6 am tomorrow, the rescue service divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will carry out disinfection work in public areas throughout the republic, particularly at bus stops, twice a day on an imperative basis,” highlighted Harutyunyan.
