23 Citizens of Armenia Return from Georgia, Reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Armenian Embassy has organized the departure of another group of Armenian citizens from Georgia to Armenia. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
On March 27, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia facilitated the departure of a group of Armenian citizens who wished to return to Armenia. Through negotiations with the Georgian authorities, they received special permission and arranged a corridor in the Marneuli region. Accompanied by the patrol police, the embassy successfully executed the return of 23 Armenian citizens to their homeland.
It is noteworthy that the embassy ensured the safe transport of the citizens all the way to Yerevan.
It is also important to mention that due to the strict quarantine regime imposed in the Marneuli and Bolnisi regions of Georgia, movement of citizens through the Sadakhlo checkpoint is currently closed (this restriction does not apply to freight transport).
