Elderly Home Care Services Continue to Operate Without Breaks
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia is compiling electronic lists of elderly pensioners living alone, consisting of only pensioners, and individuals with mobility difficulties or vision problems, including families with minor children under their care. These assessments will be conducted within a three-day period to provide assistance in daily living matters if necessary, as reported by the government of Armenia.
A procedure for organizing protection work for socially disadvantaged, mobility-impaired individuals and families at risk has already been developed. With the assistance of humanitarian and international organizations, efforts are being made to provide services to vulnerable groups, as well as to ensure the provision of food packages consisting of essential commodities and food supplies.
Day centers for elderly care operate only concerning the charitable kitchen, delivering meals to elderly individuals living alone.
Elderly home care services continue to operate without interruption.
