40-45 Percent Increase in Trade Sector Over Three Days Last Week, Says Davit Ananyan
During a press conference held at the Crisis Management Center today, the head of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, responded to journalists' questions regarding the printing of cash register receipts. He addressed whether the quantity had decreased during the state of emergency.
Ananyan stated: “The volume of trade turnover has decreased, and the number of receipts has diminished, but this is primarily due to the passive state of the public catering sector. However, there is a positive shift in the trade sector, with a 40-45 percent increase observed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On March 16, approximately 1.3 million cash register receipts were printed, while on March 17, 2.5 million receipts were produced. There have been fluctuations, but no significant changes have occurred; I believe those are still ahead of us.”
