Black Ice Present in Areas Called 'Zanger' and Tasi Turns
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 26 at 17:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads throughout Armenia.
The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn Province will remain closed for an indefinite period.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, while other vehicles can navigate it with difficulty.
There are instances of black ice on the Sotk-Karvachar, Sevan-Gavar roads in Gegharkunik Province, as well as in the areas known as 'Zanger' in the Syunik Province, Saravan area, and Tasi turns.
Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
