US to Cut $250 Million in Military Aid to Iraq
The US plans to reduce military aid provided to Iraq if Baghdad does not withdraw American troops from the country. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The US intends to cut assistance by more than $250 million.
It has been noted that Congress has already approved the decision to provide military aid to Iraq; however, if events take a negative turn, the Trump administration will take steps to cancel that assistance.
