School Heating Issues Temporarily Halt Classes

The Ararat Province administration has issued a clarification regarding the situation at the Bardarashen High School. In particular, it states, 'Regarding the situation at Bardarashen High School, Ararat Governor Garik Sargsyan held discussions with the school principal, community leader, and representatives from the province administration.' The attendees, together with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, have decided that in order to urgently resolve the issues arising at this school, the educational process will be temporarily halted; the school will return to normal operations on Monday. During this period, measures will be taken to ensure the necessary thermal regime at the school. It is worth noting that the missed classes will be compensated for in the following educational process. It is also noted that the building of Bardarashen School is classified as an emergency facility of the 3rd category. The renovation of the building has been submitted in the province administration’s medium-term expenditure program.
