Iran's Economy Suffers Significant Losses Due to US Sanctions

The Iranian economy has sustained hundreds of billions of dollars in damages due to US sanctions imposed on Tehran, stated Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

"Our (Iran's) economy has suffered significant damage over the past two years (due to the restrictions imposed by the US)," Zarif's remarks were quoted by Al Arabiya television. Zarif added that in this context, "it can be said that the losses amount to hundreds of billions." At the same time, he assured that Tehran is "not interested in negotiations with the United States." The Iranian Foreign Minister has arrived in New Delhi to participate in the 'Raisina Dialogue' international conference.
