Surenyán on Upcoming Weather Conditions
The head of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ meteorological service, Gagik Surenyán, has announced on his Facebook page that air temperatures are expected to rise by 8-10 degrees.
“In the coming days, we expect the influx of tropical warm air currents from the southwest. The air temperature will rise by 8-10 degrees throughout the country by the night of November 27. On November 26-30, during the day in Lori, Tavush, Syunik, and Artsakh, temperatures will gradually increase by 8-10 degrees, while in other regions, it will rise by 4-5 degrees.
Starting from November 27, the air temperature in the valleys and foothill areas of the Republic will become positive, above 0 degrees. For instance, if the temperature in the Ararat Plain is expected to be between -5 and -8 degrees Celsius tonight, by the night of November 28, it will fluctuate between +2 and +4 degrees Celsius.
Precipitation is only forecasted for November 28, especially in the early hours. On the remaining days, the weather in the country will predominantly be overcast with variable cloudiness and no precipitation.”
