89 Drunk Drivers, 8 Vehicles Without Insurance: Results of Traffic Police's Enhanced Operations

From November 18 to 24, officers from the first police battalion of the traffic police conducted enhanced operations in the capital, resulting in the removal of 206 vehicles from special protected areas. Of these, 25 drivers were under the influence of alcohol, while others either lacked the necessary documents or committed gross violations of traffic rules, endangering the lives and health of other road users.

During the enhanced operations, 87 vehicles were also found to be operated with violations regarding the transparency of their front windshields. 45 drivers rectified the violation by removing the film on the windshield on the spot.

Simultaneously, officers from the second police battalion of the traffic police conducted enhanced operations in the regions, resulting in the removal of 93 vehicles from special protected areas, with 64 drivers found to be in a state of intoxication.

Additionally, 8 vehicles operating without license plates and 94 vehicles without insurance contracts were identified, along with 89 vehicles with tinted windshields. Furthermore, 42 drivers were fined for throwing various objects and materials out of their vehicles while on the road.
