Father of Garik and Levon Martirosyan Has Passed Away

Yuri Martirosyan, the father of Garik and Levon Martirosyan, has passed away at the age of 77 in Yerevan. Levon Martirosyan announced this on his Facebook page.

“With deep sorrow, I inform that on November 23, my beloved father, Yuri Mkrtchyan Martirosyan, passed away at the age of 77. The wake will be held on November 25 at 18:00 at St. Sarkis Church in Nor Nork, and the farewell ceremony will take place on November 26 at 13:00 in the same church,” he wrote.

It is noteworthy that Garik Martirosyan is a well-known comedian and host based in Russia. His elder brother, Levon Martirosyan, is a politician and diplomat. He served as a member of the National Assembly of Armenia in its 6th Convocation and held the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Canada from 2017 to 2019.
