Evo Morales' Victory in Presidential Elections to be Nullified
The Bolivian Senate has passed a bill that nullifies Evo Morales' victory in the presidential elections held on October 20.
"The general elections held on October 20, 2019, and their results are recognized as null and void by virtue of this law. It is necessary to conduct new elections for president, vice president, senators, deputies, and representatives of parliamentary governing bodies," the text of the document states, as reported by ria.ru.
The document will be presented to the House of Representatives, and then to the president for signature.
