Video: At Least 18 People Killed in Iraq During Protest Dispersion

In the central Iraqi city of Karbala, at least 18 people have been killed as security forces dispersed a sit-in protest, according to Al Arabiya television, citing medical sources.

Protests that began in Iraq in October have resumed with renewed intensity at the end of last week. During the first week of the demonstrations alone, around 150 people have reportedly died, and since the resumption of protests on October 25, more than 70 people have been killed.
