Security Council Meeting Underway
The Security Council meeting is taking place under the leadership of Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The Government's press service reports that this is a previously planned extraordinary session.
Welcoming those present, the Prime Minister noted, “Our meeting coincides with intense developments in the region, and we will have discussions regarding that as well today. Of course, we will exchange thoughts and information on our recent international engagements and also discuss the current situation regarding the peaceful resolution of the Artsakh issue.
Meetings of the Security Council are very important because we make decisions on economic and political matters in the context of our security issues, and I am confident that the decisions we will make today will contribute to enhancing the future security and prosperity of our country.”
