94 Officers Receive Service Apartments, Attended by David Tonoyan
The Minister of Defense of Armenia, David Tonoyan, attended the ceremonial openings of newly built residential buildings designated for military personnel and their families in several communities across the republic.
According to the information released by the Ministry of Defense's Information and Public Relations Department, one of the residential buildings was constructed and put into operation in the town of Goris, Syunik Province. The keys to the 22 apartments in the new building were handed over to the military personnel by the Minister of Defense.
In the town of Sisian, officers also received 28 furnished service apartments. The soldiers and their family members celebrated their new homes in the town of Vayk, where 44 military personnel received service apartments.
The head of the defense department congratulated the servicemen who received apartments in the new buildings and emphasized that the housing and social security issues of the armed forces' personnel are continuously in the focus of the country's military-political leadership. Assuring that every effort is being made to alleviate the social burden on servicemen, David Tonoyan expressed confidence that solving the housing issue will significantly enhance the combat readiness of the servicemen and their ability to fulfill combat tasks.
