Accident on Komitas Avenue: Casualties Reported

On October 11, at 13:06, the "911" service received a call reporting a traffic accident near the "Yerevan City" supermarket on Komitas Avenue, with multiple vehicles involved and assistance needed.

Two fire and rescue units from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Department in Yerevan were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles, a "Suzuki" (driver: Artak H., born in 1984) and a "Mercedes" (driver: Hambardzum S., born in 1988), collided near house number 46 on Komitas Avenue.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and passenger of the "Suzuki" vehicle, Anahit Z. (born in 1949), along with the driver of the "Mercedes" and his passengers, Alvida S. (born in 1966) and Seda H. (born in 1948), managed to exit their vehicles independently.

Rescue workers provided first aid at the site, and the injured parties from the "Suzuki" were transported to the "Saint Gregory the Illuminator" Hospital, while those injured from the "Mercedes" were taken to the "Izmirlian" Medical Center. The rescuers also disconnected the vehicles' batteries and closed the gas valve cylinders.
