RA Civil Aviation Committee Has Not Received Any Notification from Pobeda Airline
The RA Civil Aviation Committee has issued a statement on its Facebook page, indicating that it has not received any official notification from Pobeda Airline regarding the cancellation of winter flights.
The statement is as follows: "We inform you that the RA Civil Aviation Committee learned from media reports that Pobeda Airline plans to suspend flights on the Moscow-Gyumri-Moscow route. We find it necessary to emphasize that the Committee has not received any official notification from Pobeda Airline regarding the cancellation of winter flights. Nonetheless, in order to clarify the situation, representatives from Armenia International Airports and Pobeda Airline have been invited to the Committee.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to establish a working group composed of specialists by the order of the Committee President to investigate the circumstances and take appropriate measures. We will provide additional information about the results."
It is worth noting that earlier, TASS agency reported that flights are being suspended due to fuel underfunding.
