The Rector of Yerevan State University Wants to Show That for Him, Pashinyan is of No Consequence
The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports: “The day before Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Yerevan State University, one of his assistants visited the university administration and conveyed Pashinyan's wish that he does not want to see Aram Simonian.
Simonian conveyed that the desires of the Prime Minister and himself are aligned, and he does not have a desire to meet with him either. Pashinyan is trying to isolate Simonian and make it clear to the deans of university faculties and heads of departments that the rector should not be taken seriously; meanwhile, Simonian wants to show that for him, Pashinyan is ultimately of no consequence.”
