Discussion, Consultation, Experience Exchange in Artsakh

As part of the cooperation program in the defense sector between the two Armenian republics, on April 19, Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan, Territorial Administration and Development Minister Suren Papikyan, Yerevan Mayor, and regional governors, along with representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces General Staff, arrived in Artsakh.

During the visit, discussions and training sessions took place at the army headquarters on April 20, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of civil defense readiness and experiences exchanged between the two Armenian republics.

Following this, a visit was organized to the advanced command post of the army, where the Minister of Defense of Artsakh, Major General Karen Abrahamyan, presented the nature of potential enemy actions and the most effective ways to respond to them.

During the visit, the leaders of the military departments of the two Armenian republics also toured factories producing military-grade goods.

On the second day of the event, high-ranking guests from Armenia visited a guard post at one of the military units located in the northeastern direction, congratulated the personnel on the occasion of Easter, inquired about the operational and tactical situation, and familiarized themselves with the challenges of conducting combat duty in contact with the enemy, along with the social and living conditions of the servicemen. They also clarified the characteristics of cooperation between the heads of adjacent administrative regions and military units.
