Gagik Tsarukyan Expresses Discontent Over HHK MPs' Actions
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that three MPs from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) in the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs—Artyom Tsarukyan, Hrant Madatyan, and Arthur Dallakyan—voted in favor of a controversial bill amending the Law on State Duties.
This bill proposes the imposition of a state duty on imported cement. The actions of the BHK MPs have raised discontent from the party leader Gagik Tsarukyan.
In an interview with "Zhoghovurd" yesterday, My Step alliance MP Hayk Sargsyan confirmed that the BHK MPs voted in favor of the relevant bill in the committee: "Yes, they all voted in favor. They may not have been familiar with the issue at that time; I don't know. You should ask them about that," he said.
It is noteworthy that Gagik Tsarukyan met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan yesterday, and one of the topics discussed was precisely these amendments.
