Putin to Visit Armenia This Autumn: What is Behind the Trip?
According to the 'Hraparak' newspaper, it is already known that the upcoming session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place on April 29-30 in Yerevan, and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will also arrive in Armenia on April 29 to participate in the meeting.
Our sources report that Russian President Vladimir Putin is likely to visit Armenia in the autumn as well.
Despite the strained relations, Putin does not want to sever ties with the Armenian authorities and aims to maintain a balance in the relationships between Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is worth noting that Armenia is currently the presiding country of the EAEU.
