Photos: Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Visits Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, visited the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris during his working visit to France. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, on her Facebook page.

It is noteworthy that a major fire broke out at the Notre-Dame Cathedral yesterday, resulting in the collapse of the cathedral's spire. French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Edouard Philippe were present at the scene. Approximately 400 firefighters participated in the firefighting efforts. The cathedral has suffered significant damage due to the fire. According to French media reports, the fire may be related to renovation works taking place at the cathedral.

Later, it was reported that the fire has been extinguished, while the collapse of the structures continues.

It is also recalled that Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is expected to hold various meetings during his working visit.

During his visit, the Armenian Foreign Minister will meet with the French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the French National Assembly Marielle de Sarnez, and other officials.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is also scheduled to deliver a speech at the French Institute of International Relations. A meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in France is also planned.
