A Year Ago Today We Were Together, but on Opposite Sides of the Barbed Wire: Pashinyan to Police Officers
Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is at the Police Headquarters to congratulate officers on the occasion of Police Day.
In his speech, the Prime Minister congratulated the police and remarked that exactly one year ago today, they were once again together, but on opposite sides of the barbed wire.
“I consider that day very significant for the relationship between the Police of Armenia and the citizens of Armenia. Our observation since that day has been that the entire process, when it took place, was essentially a very expressive action of contradiction, and there was not a single drop of hatred in it. In this regard, I consider that day significant and believe that it marks the beginning of a new content in the relationship between the Police of Armenia and its citizens,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
The Prime Minister stated that the actions of the Police of Armenia should not express or incite hatred. “The greatest achievement in recent months can be considered just that, as hatred has been eliminated as a characteristic of the relationship between the police and the society,” he added.
