Advisor to the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak Removed from Position
Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the President of Ukraine, and Serhiy Leshchenko have been dismissed following the removal of Andriy Yermak. This was reported by a Ukrainian news agency, citing an official response from the presidential office.
The office of President Volodymyr Zelensky explained that the dismissals occurred due to the expiration of the powers of their immediate leader. The specific list of those dismissed has not been officially published. According to reports, there were nine advisors included in Yermak's team as of the end of 2024.
The resignation of Andriy Yermak, announced by Zelensky on November 28, occurred against the backdrop of a high-profile corruption scandal in the energy sector.
