Armenian Defense Ministry Releases Statement
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has spread misinformation once again. The statement from the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claiming that on March 16 at 18:35, Armenian Armed Forces opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the southeastern part of the border does not correspond to reality.
Earlier today, at noon, the Armenian Defense Ministry also announced that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's report claiming that at 09:45 on March 16, Armenian Armed Forces had opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions in the same region is not true.
It is worth recalling that the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has proposed to establish a joint mechanism for investigating violations of the ceasefire and/or information related to such incidents between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to which Azerbaijan has yet to respond.
