Fake Trial to Continue Today in Baku
Today, the military court in Baku will continue the sham trials against representatives of the former military-political leadership of the occupied Republic of Artsakh and civilians. They are being accused of "terrorism," "war crimes," "genocide," and other "offenses," according to Azerbaijani media reports.
It is reported that a motion will be discussed to replace the measure of restraint from detention to house arrest.
In total, 16 Armenians will stand before the court, including former presidents of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, former National Assembly speaker David Ishkhanyan, former chief of the Defense Army General Staff Davit Manukyan, former foreign minister Davit Babayan, former commander of the Defense Army Levon Mnatsakanyan, former state minister Ruben Vardanyan, as well as civilians Vahsi Beglaryan, Erik Ghazaryan, Davit Alaverdyan, Gurgen Stepanyan, Levon Balayan, Madat Babayan, Garik Martirosyan, and Melikset Pashayan.
