David Tonoyan to Remain in Custody
The former Minister of Defense, David Tonoyan, will continue to remain in custody. This information has been reported by Tert.am, as confirmed by his attorney Avetik Karapetyan.
He noted that the Anti-Corruption Court has rejected the motion to change the measure of restraint for David Tonoyan.
It is recalled that Tonoyan is accused in a case related to abuses during his tenure in the procurement process of military supplies by the ministry. According to the NSS report, David Tonoyan and businessman David Galstyan are accused of embezzling a particularly large amount of 2,277,323,840 Armenian drams and committing forgeries and other socially dangerous acts.
