Application Submitted to ECHR for Protection of Rights of Three Abducted Boys
An application has been submitted to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) regarding the protection of the rights of three civilians abducted on August 28 from the Lachin corridor, demanding interim measures against Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Armenian representative for international legal issues.
It is noteworthy that three Armenian youths were abducted within a day from the illegal Azerbaijani checkpoint in Lachin. The first to be abducted was Alen Sargsyan, followed literally by two more youths just hours later. All three are students who were heading to Yerevan to continue their studies.
The Artsakh Information Headquarters has described this as a continuation of genocidal policies, asserting that Baku is once again violating the norms of international humanitarian law. The youths were traveling to Armenia under the escort of Russian peacekeepers.
