33-Year-Old Man Attempts Self-Immolation in Yerevan After Argument with Wife
Today in Yerevan, a man attempted self-immolation and was hospitalized with burns, according to the Investigative Committee.
It was reported that the police received a call at 1:00 PM informing them that a 33-year-old man had been transported to the National Burns Center with 95 percent body thermal burns, near the road leading to Yerablur.
“Preliminary information indicates that days earlier, the man had an argument with his wife over personal issues. Following that, on October 29, around 12:30 PM, in the presence of his wife and brother, he poured gasoline on himself and attempted to commit suicide by igniting himself,” the statement noted.
A forensic medical examination has been ordered within the framework of the criminal proceedings.
