US Naval Forces Will No Longer Be the Same... Discussions About Makunts Roam the Internet
On January 3, Armenian Ambassador to the US Lilith Makunts delivered a lecture for students at the US Naval College. This was reported by the Armenian embassy in the US.
The ambassador presented Armenia's foreign policy priorities, emphasizing the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh, the security environment, and regional developments. The lecture was followed by a Q&A session.
The US Naval College, established in 1884 as an advanced training course for naval officers, educates and develops leaders at specific stages in their careers from US government institutions and agencies, as well as international naval forces.
This statement has sparked humorous discussions online. “The US Naval Forces will no longer be the same,” noted commentator Karpis Pashoyan. “Mariak Makunts,” added former Ajapnyak Deputy Mayor Aram Manukyan. There are also other comments worth mentioning.
