Bayramov Claims Azerbaijan Ready to Start Border Demarcation Process with Armenia, but Armenia Has Not Responded
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting in video-conference format with Annika Söder, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus. Bayramov provided information on the security situation in the region, issues related to the implementation of trilateral statements, including measures taken by Azerbaijan.
"Azerbaijan operates from the position of ensuring long-term peace and tranquility in the region and is ready to start the border demarcation process with Armenia; however, Armenia has not responded to this," Bayramov stated.
Söder noted that as the representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, she supports regional cooperation in the South Caucasus.
