VIDEO: Putin on the Situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
The situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border still does not allow us to say that the conflict has ended. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 18 during an expanded meeting of the Russian Foreign Ministry's board.
“The recent shots fired at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border show that the situation in this region has not completely calmed down,” said Putin, noting that in this case, the Russian peacekeeping contingent is the guarantor of the ceasefire regime and the security of the civilian population.
“The region urgently needs efforts from the Russian side,” Putin added.
