Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan shared a heroic story that took place in the region during a press conference on October 17. “Gevorg from Sevan, with his hand in his pocket, made his way from the Sevan military commissariat to the front line. The reason his hand is in his pocket is because Gevorg is missing fingers from one hand; they were amputated at the wrist. Gevorg concealed this fact at the military commissariat by keeping his hand in his pocket, and now he is on the front lines,” the governor recounted.
