Erdogan Holds Phone Conversation with Justin Trudeau, Discusses War Situation in Nagorno-Karabakh
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, held a phone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. According to the press office of the President, the two leaders discussed the war situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan contact line.
Erdogan noted that Canada’s decision to halt the supply of certain types of weaponry to Turkey contradicts the spirit of allied relations. It was also mentioned that during the conversation with Prime Minister Trudeau, the Turkish President voiced Azerbaijan's viewpoints regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Last week, Canada froze the supply of military equipment to Turkey, which, according to reports, had been used against Nagorno-Karabakh.
