Final Decision Expected on October 8-9: Deputy Prime Minister on Those Seeking to Travel to Russia
During a question and answer session between the National Assembly and the government, MP Haik Konjoryan from the 'My Step' alliance addressed the protests by our citizens wishing to travel to Russia. He stated, 'Our citizens have been conducting protests for quite some time now, and we know that they have approached the government. I would like to know what new developments there are in this regard.'
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan responded, noting that there are currently no regular transportations within the CIS and EEU. 'The issue is indeed complex and not only pertains to Armenia. We believe that the most effective option is to arrive at a unified solution, which is the platform of the EEU. The EEU has sufficient tools to establish a unified rule, and this issue is on the agenda, to be discussed tomorrow, with final decisions expected on October 8-9.'
